Explorer dashboards

Explorer can flag saved views as dashboard widget references. This is a lightweight dashboard builder — not a separate full layout product.

Dashboards are not available on the same terms as Data Explorer. The dashboard page and the dashboard widget routes require feature dashboards. That feature is off on an unlicensed Professional package and the routes are absent from the Open Source package. Data Explorer itself remains available on the Professional package before activation.

How it works

1. Save an Explorer view.
2. Flag it as a dashboard widget reference.
3. Dashboard listings resolve owner/key without duplicating the view JSON.

There is no general-purpose dashboard layout placement API yet — only Explorer view “widget” flags.
